Merry Christmas

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.

I pray that the Child Jesus met you in unexpected ways throughout this Advent season.

Looking forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

COMING JANUARY 2024

I thought it was lost. This whole writing thing.

It started over 10 years ago and began with my love of gardening……………and then it grew. Just like the seed that starts in the dark, it followed the light and I knew it was more about the journey of life than about the season itself.

I found that writing was my love with words. The ones I spoke. The ones I listened to. The ones that came in silent prayer. The ones that gave clarity around the chaos within and the expressions in the emotions that poured out or got bottled up. However they came, they were treasured.

Communicating those words was raw and vulnerable, at times, but then…. conversations started and trust formed and I knew I was in the right place. With every exchange, I grew. My ears listened deeper. My eyes gained perspective. My heart began to change.

With each encounter, through my writing, a beautiful page was added to the story of my life. It’s helped me grow and change over the years. No matter one’s race, political stance, or faith – each encounter enriched every part of my life. Despite our different paths, our destination was the same.

Yes, I thought this dream to write was gone. Life has been so full. So busy.

My heart ached to write again, but I just couldn’t figure out how…….or better…….when.

But then it happened. When I least expected it, things started to come together and I was inspired to start a Newsletter. With unthinkable ease, pen met paper (or fingers met keys) and I saw God begin to weave the pieces of my life together – right here where I’m at – in the unknown, broken, and messy chaos.

Creating a newsletter pulls together the little moments of ordinary life (you know, the behind-the-scenes conversations) that don’t always make it into a blog, but reflect the stops along the journey that make you laugh, think, or wish you could share.

Thanks for being that support and encouragement along the way. Thanks for your stories and trust and openness that inspire the hell out of me! Now, I want to watch a new seed grow as I place it out into the unknown and let the Light do It’s work.

If you’re so inspired, would you consider signing up for my newsletter (by clicking the link below ) and becoming a trusted friend along this new adventure?
